I believe art has no rules and I design organically, drawing inspiration from emotions, energy, sound, touch, and visual impressions that arrive in their own time. Many ideas begin as sketches in my journal or as fleeting sparks that are set aside to marinate until the right moment, when I feel ready to receive and interpret them into form.
In the studio, with Milo at my side I am multitasking, listening to music, chair dancing, humming. My “zen” lies in the execution and interpretation of my creative flow, an intentional collision of inspiration, materials, and mediums like resin, wire, metal, and vintage elements that give new life to the past through contemporary assemblage.
Sustainability is at the heart of my practice, as I rescue and redesign flea-market finds, salvaged pieces, and “rusty, crusty” oddities into contemporary works that honor their history while carrying new stories forward. Casual, boho, and a devoted thrifter, I am nourished by nature, organic shapes, and everyday pleasures—from swirling leaves and every shade of green to hot coffee, good food, and the thrill of a great yard-sale find.
For me, creativity is both a spiritual and playful act: I see myself as a vessel, humbled by how I am guided, unraveling each moment as it unfolds. Every finished piece becomes a small collaboration between past and present, maker and wearer—an invitation to carry a bit of my imagination, and the journey of each salvaged element, into your own story.
